KINGSPAN AIR-CELL
Kingspan AIR-CELL insulation is a low volume, high performance insulation. This type of insulation is designed to replace both conventional and fibre based insulation, and vapour barrier insulation, all in this one application.
Most Kingspan AIR-CELL insulation products are CodeMark certified for compliance with the Building Code of Australia and Insulation standard AS/NZ 4859.1. with the exception of the Insulaire® product.

INSULBREAK®
INSULBREAK® is ideal for providing a thermal break solution for steel-framed constructions, as required by the Building Code of Australia (BCA). It acts as a 3-in-1 solution providing: insulation, thermal break and vapour barrier. It is designed to reduce thermal bridging and conductivity between building elements. INSULBREAK® is the latest in fibre-free, non-allergenic insulation technology AIR-CELL insulation.

GLARESHIELD® by Air-Cell is also recommended for use as wall insulation, and under roof, ceilings and floors where it provides the benefits of not only insulation. But also vapour condensation in the one application. This product features an anti-glare coating on the upper surface and a high polish aluminium foil for the under surface separated by a fire retardant 20mm polyethylene cell structure.
THERMAL PERFORMANCE
The R-values shown in the tables below are Total R-values for the building element as required by the Energy Provisions of the Building Code of Australia. Kingspan AIR-CELL products are manufactured, tested and packaged in conformance with AS/NZS 4859.1:2002 - Amdt 1. The contribution of the product Total R-values depends on installation and environmental conditions. The R-value will be reduced in the event of the accumulation of dust on the upward facing surfaces and in those cavities that are ventilated.

VAPA-CHEK™
VAPA-CHEK™ is a very popular form of under metal roofing insulation for domestic homes and commercial developments.
When installed correctly VAPA-CHEK™ helps to increase comfort all year round and reduces the energy required for artificial cooling and heating thereby reducing heating and cooling costs.
VAPA-CHEK™ can also be used in metal clad walls.
Made from FBS-1 bio-soluble Glasswool, and has been proven to provide effective thermal and acoustic performance. It also offers the best possible fire rating when tested to Australian Standard AS1530.3 Early Fire Hazard requirements. The Glasswool blanket is non-combustible and all Sisalation® foils used to produce VAPA-CHEK™ have a flammability index of less than 5 - when tested to AS 1530.3 standard. This makes VAPA-CHEK™ acceptable for use in bush fire prone areas.
