Metal Stud Frame - submitted by kempm

I had an opening to fill between two rooms in my house. Brickwork is well outside my skillset, so I went with a steel stud frame. It was very easy, just measure and cut the lengths and then tek screw them together.

Our latest project was a large double carport that we bought from Merredin Midalia Steel. The frame and half walls were in Classic Cream colourbond and the roof was Pale Eucalyptus.

Lawn aerator with cleaning spike stand - submitted by bilko

16 mm ERW round tube
25 x 25 mm square tube
6 mm solid round
3 x 20 mm flat bar
2 x 25 x 25 end caps

Works wonders on the lawn, 4 tynes spaced at 100 mm and reinforced with 6 mm rod, easy to use

Horse Round Yard - submitted by ODIE

Each one of these is a separate panel. Firstly, we built up a jig, then cut the steel out and spent days welding. It turned into a full family affair with the wife on the drop saw and the kids flattening each end of the pipe with a 4lb hammer and anvil.

Removable Tradesman Top for my trailer - submitted by timsvb

Made this Removable Tradesman Top for my 6x4 trailer, using a scrap work-site box , steel & bits from Midalia Midvale.
Knock out 4 Caps, undo 6 Bolts and Lift the Top off to take the rubbish to the tip.

Crane Jib - submitted by James1963

My Dad made this crane jib. It fits on our Massey Ferguson tractor and comes in very handy for lifting Midalia Steel metal items around (such as for shifting a 'automatic gate' from shed to new position as main front gate.)
