Needed a mobile workbench for the back garage, so I rounded up some offcuts and half lengths, and went to work.
The legs are 100x50x3 RHS, the frame under the benchtop is 25x50x3 RHS, gusseted with 30×3 and 20x 3 flat bar.
Supports under the bench top are 50×3 flat bar on edge, and the supports for the bottom shelf are 40x40x3 angle iron.
Two plates made from 3mm sheet support the vice and grinder, and the wheels are 100mm with brakes on all four wheels to hold it steady.
Bench top and shelf are 19mm MDF board sealed with pigmented shellac (B-I-N) and painted with Dulux Weathershield acrylic exterior house paint!
